The origin of the Never Land

When James Barrie wrote the story of Peter Pan, everyone believed that the magical
island out of their imagination, could be close to Scotland, their homeland, but what if this
fantastic island of pirates, fairies, Indians, and mermaids were found more near us, for
example, in the sunken cities of the Mayans in Mesoamerica? That being the case, from
fantasy, the possibilities would be endless.
